About Us

Pine Hill Honey began about fifteen years ago, when Kristi signed Michael up for a local beekeeping course. Here is the story in Michael’s own words.

I wrote this “About Us” because all these types of websites have one for some reason, and also to appease my wife, Kristi. She really doesn’t contribute at all — unless you count constantly pointing out how everything in the house is always sticky from honey.

Anyway, about fifteen years ago Kristi wanted to get me out of the house, so she sent me to a beekeeping course. I found it very interesting and decided to give it a try. After many dead bees and many, many bee stings, I finally got the hang of it and started bottling the honey.
