What makes bees remarkable

  1. Bees have existed for more than 100 million years.
  2. Honey never goes bad.
  3. Bee stings really really hurt.
  4. 1/3 of everything you eat is due to bee pollination.
  5. The average worker bee lives about 40 days.
  6. Only about 5% of bees are male (drones).
  7. Honey is 25% sweeter than sugar.
  8. 95% of bees do not listen well and are bad at math.
  9. Regardless of the outside temperature, bees maintain 92–93 degrees inside the hive.
  10. Bees can fly up to 20 miles per hour.
  11. I think Pine Hill Honey is the best.
  12. A queen bee lays between 2,000 and 3,000 eggs a day.
